Application Deadlines

Students applying for a degree or certificate must be registered for coursework (or continuous enrollment) in the semester in which they intend to complete all academic requirements.

Requirements must be completed prior to the published graduation date for that semester. If your coursework ends after the graduation date for the semester then you should register and apply for the following semester. Candidates for doctoral degrees may have earlier deadlines for completion of their degree requirements and should verify the ETD submission date with their department.

Degree-seeking students should apply for graduation via the online graduation application in GWeb no later than the deadlines listed below. Please refer to the online application instructions for step-by-step assistance completing your application.

Students should submit a graduation application for the semester they plan to complete all academic requirements. Commencement ceremony participation preference is submitted through the application.
